Thank you for your interest in training opportunities at American Humane Association. We take a great deal of pride in our training courses. It is our commitment to provide the highest quality education in the nation in the area of animal disaster response, euthanasia by injection and managing compassion stress.
One of the important ways American Humane helps protect animals is by educating and training people how to provide the best animal care possible. Throughout the year, we travel across the country training animal welfare professionals and people who love animals wanting to make a difference in their well-being.
This course is designed to cross-train urban search and rescue teams, animal search and rescue and other first responders how to handle a situation or disaster together.
If you want to become an official American Humane Red Star Animal Emergency Services™ Volunteer and help animals in the aftermath of national disasters, you must attend this two-day training.
