My extension programming includes organizing educational programs for 4-H and FFA members, backyard and small flock producers, and the Michigan poultry industry. I work closely with numerous individuals across various disciplines to ensure accurate and precise information is being delivered. Through my interactions with youth, I strive to educate them on poultry production, job potential, and management issues so they can have an appreciation for how their food is produced. My research is targeted toward the turkey and layer industry in the state focusing on nutrition, management practices, and skeletal issues.
