You might’ve noticed it already: We’ve rebranded with a new name, logo, slogan, and website!
We’re celebrating 100 years of helping animals; from rescuing horses in World War I to aiding animals displaced by Louisiana’s flooding crisis last month.
Remembering and sharing our story caused us to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going as an organization.
We want our legacy to grow and that’s why we’ve renewed our commitment to fighting for animals on the front lines.
Our new name, logo and slogan pay homage to our organization’s rich history: American Humane, “First to Serve.”
This slogan references our past as the first national humane organization, and the countless times American Humane was first to serve. But it’s also our mission and promise: We’ll be animals’ first responders whenever disaster might strike.
However, American Humane goes far beyond rescue operations, and our new website makes it easier to see the full spectrum of our lifesaving efforts. If you click “Programs” above, you’ll see what we mean. American Humane is setting humane standards for farm animals, endangered species, animal actors, military dogs, veterans, and more.
Now that American Humane is looking better than ever, we look forward to 100 more years of being “First to Serve.”
