Detailed Animal Action Report
In the scene where policemen conduct a neighborhood search and two of them lead K-9 dogs on leashes on a small hill, prior to shooting, the production team cleared a path for the dogs to walk through. The wrangler walked on the hill to make sure all the dogs walked on a clear path. On action, the dogs’ handlers (dressed as policemen) walked down the hill. The dogs performed naturally as they searched the area.
In the scene where the actress sits in her car, watching a house, and we see a neighbor walking her dog in the background, prior to shooting the scene, production placed tape markers on the ground for the background actor and the dog to start walking. On action, the director cued the background actor to walk the dog.
