The Whale
Detailed Animal Action Report
In the scene when the actor looks out the window and sees the bird eating off the plate outside, the trainer brought the bird to the set in a cage. Prior to filming the trainers covered the area with netting to prevent escape. The handler was the only person inside of the netting with the bird. The bird was very comfortable being handled by handler. On action, the director got the shot of the bird eating from the plate.
