In the scene where the actress picks up a chameleon and whispers to it, the chameleons arrived inside their vehicle which was parked outside the studio. They were carried inside a case by the handler to the studio. The handler carried a chameleon to the stand and placed him on the branch. Prior to shooting the scene, the trainer showed the actress how to pick up the chameleon. The actress picked up the lizard and engaged in dialogue. The chameleon was placed back in the carrying case and brought it back to the van.
