Detailed Animal Action Report
In the scene where the storm troopers invade a village and we see alpacas and dogs in pens in the background, the trainer stood beside the pen containing dogs and fed them treats to keep them occupied. At the same time, the trainers for the alpacas led the two alpacas across the back of shot leading them by ropes. The dogs and alpacas were given water and shade between shots.
In the scene where the robot rolls into an area and geese jump out of his way, the geese were prepped and were filmed on greenscreen. The trainer cued the geese to jump on cue. The robot was inserted in the greenscreen for the final shot.
The birds in the island were caught in their natural habitat.
