Rush Hour 3 (2007)
Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and LAPD Detective Carter (Chris Tucker) discover that the criminal masterminds called the Chinese Triads are now creating havoc in Paris. When these unlikely cop buddies travel to France to protect the public from the Triads’ operations, the zany duo brings martial arts, wacky humor and plenty of action.
Animal actors in this production were monitored through American Humane Society’s No Animals Were Harmed® program.
Rush Hour 3
Detailed Animal Action Report
In a Parisian hotel elevator, a woman holds the leash of her poodle, who proceeds to urinate on Detective Carter. In this scene, the dog wore a comfortable coat that was equipped with a hidden tube. The dog’s trainer cued the dog to lift his leg and a special effects coordinator released a stream of yellow-tinted water through the hidden tube. The scene was filmed on an enclosed, secure set. The dog was rehearsed and well-prepared to wear the loose-fitting coat and comfortable tube rigging.
