Detailed Animal Action Report

In the beginning of the film, Maggie is fleeing on horseback from yet another failed attempt at tying the knot. She gallops across a field, over a brook, through the woods, across a road, and through another field. This scene was shot in cuts. The actor is an experienced rider, however, some of the stunt riding was accomplished using a stunt double and a trained rearing and jumping horse. There are two dogs in the film that are pets of characters. They are seen lying down, being carried, sitting in a basket, eating, or stealing food from the table, etc. For all of these scenes the trainer placed the dog on his mark or in the arms of the actor and retrieved it after completion of the scene. The trainer cued the dog with verbal or hand commands and food rewards. Other animal action is extremely mild.
