In the scene where the actor goes to the beach and we see a dog in the background, the owner of the dog walked him to the edge of the shore. On action, the dog owner walked the dog approximately ten feet into the ocean and began tossing a ball across the waves. Dog chased after the ball, retrieved it and brought it back to the owner. The owner used a longer retractable leash to allow the dog space to chase the ball while remaining on leash.
