Science teacher Ryland Grace wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.

Certified Animal Action Overview

No Animals Were Harmed™ ensured that even the smallest on-screen moments were handled with care and attention. For the aquarium scene in the officers’ mess hall, the fish were gently brought to set a day early so they could settle comfortably into their environment. The tank was fully equipped with proper filtration, food, and monitored water temperature, allowing the fish to behave naturally throughout filming. Trainers remained nearby at all times, quietly observing to make sure conditions stayed just right. Once the scene was complete, the fish were calmly returned to their home, wrapping their brief appearance with the same care shown from start to finish.

Detailed Animal Action Report

In the scene where a group of actors sit in a corner bar of an officer’s mess hall, and we see an aquarium in the background with fish inside, trainers brought the fish to the set the prior day before filming. The aquarium was equipped with all the necessary air filters, fish food and a thermometer. Trainers kept an eye on the water temp throughout the day to make sure the fish were safe and healthy. Once the director got the shot, trainers transferred the fish back to their holding place and drove them home.
