Playing God is a film about Eugene, a suspended, drug addicted doctor, who becomes involved with a gang of criminals after saving the life of one of the gang members.

A dog is heard barking and then is seen inside of a trailer. An actor holds the dog by his collar as the doctor enters. Other animal action consists of an aquarium seen in the background at an office in downtown Los Angeles. American Humane was not present on set to monitor the animal action.
