One Hour Photo (2002)
Robin Williams is Sy Parrish, a lonely and obsessive discount photo attendant who develops a creepy fascination with customers Nina and Will Yorkin (Connie Nielsen & Michael Vartan). When Sy discovers that the young, attractive couple only appear to have a picture perfect life, his harmless, vicarious thrills take a dangerously literal turn.
Animal actors in this production were monitored through American Humane Society’s No Animals Were Harmed™ program.

Detailed Animal Action Report
Sy’s Rodent Friend
Sy’s gerbil runs around on a wheel in its cage. Sy attaches a water bottle to the side of the cage and the little gerbil takes a refreshing drink. The gerbil in the cage was well maintained during filming and played naturally as the cameras rolled.
Canine Cameos
A dog lies in a chair in the living room as Sy sits on a couch watching television. A trainer placed the pooch on his mark on the sofa and cued him to “stay” from off-camera.
The Cat Stays in the Picture
An elderly woman has Sy develop pictures of her cats in various mild positions. Cast and crew members brought in photos of their own kitty companions to double as the woman’s pets.
