Detailed Animal Action Report
In the scene where the actor picks up a mouse and injects it, the trainer carried the mouse to the set in a small transport box with paper bedding. Prior to shooting, the trainer took the mouse from the box and held it in his hands. The trainer placed the mouse wearing the cannula into the actors hand. In the scene, the actor pretends to inject a liquid into the cannula on the mouse. The actor then placed the mouse back into the terrarium and closed the door. Once the shot was done, the trainer took the mouse out of the vivarium and placed it back into the transport box.
In the scene where woman walks into a room with a cat in a carrier and placed it on a table, the cat was transferred to its transport box within the trainers van and carried to set within the crate by the trainer. When the cameras were ready to roll, the trainer transferred the cat from the transport box to the props carry crate. As soon as the shot was achieved, the cat was transferred back into the transport crate by the trainer.
