Mad City (1997)
Mad City is a film about a routine news story involving layoffs at a small museum in Madeline, California. However, it turns into a hostage situation when Sam Bailey, a terminated employee, takes over the museum and its occupants. It is an inside look at how the news media can distort the facts of a story and escalate a simple situation into dramatic tragedy.
Animal actors in this production were monitored through American Humane Society’s No Animals Were Harmed® program.
