Limit Up (1989)
Casey Falls is an ambitious young woman who works as a runner at the Chicago Commodity Market. She aspires to be a trader and asks her boss for an advancement, but he turns her down. That night her car stalls in a bad area and she meets Nike, a slick woman who claims to possess magical powers and wants to help Casey put her life together. When the tip she gives Casey proves right, Nike promises Casey success and fortune if Casey becomes a member of her private club. It seems Nike works for the devil and claims to be a fairy devilmother. Casey accepts the offer and finds romance is also part of the bargain in this mild comedy.
Animal actors in this production were monitored through American Humane Society’s No Animals Were Harmed™ program.
