Letters From A Killer is a film about Race Darnell, a convict on death row for the murder of his wife. While in prison, Race develops a relationship with four different women. Unfortunately, before he is released, two of the women receive the others tape, discovering that they are not the only recipient of his affection. After new evidence is brought forward, Race is found innocent and released. However, shortly after his release, one by one, the women are killed in the same manner that Race’s wife was and he becomes the prime suspect. Letters From a Killer

Detailed Animal Action Report

There is a scene where Race and Horton, a friend, and Lita, one of the women, are fleeing from the authorities on horseback. The police shoot at the retreating riders and give pursuit in their vehicles. This scene was shot in cuts. The actors were used to establish the shot and then replaced by professional wranglers. Pick up riders were strategically placed around the perimeter. Other animal action consists of some pigeons flying out of a barn as the door is opened, two scenes with police dogs on leashes looking for Race, and horses in stalls at the barn.
