Joe Versus The Volcano (1990)
Joe, a mild-mannered young man leading a mundane life and working at a monotonous job, is told by his doctor he has an incurable illness and has just six months to live. He’s given the opportunity to leave this world in a blaze of glory when he’s offered all the material goods he’s ever wanted in exchange for jumping into an erupting volcano. Joe accepts the offer and embarks upon his adventure where he learns that every day is a gift.

Detailed Animal Action Report
There is minimal animal action in this comedy-romance. The natives on the volcanic island keep ducks as mascots. When Joe is slapped with fish in a native ritual, fake fish are used. A brief fishing scene was staged so that no fish were harmed.
