Detailed Animal Action Report

Throughout the film, an actress has a dog, who is seen performing such mild action as sitting/lying, being held or petted. For all of these scenes, trainers used hand signals and verbal commands to cue the mild action, which the trained dog was accustomed to performing.

In the scene where security guards lead their dogs through a crowd during a concert and one of the guards and his dog walks on-stage, trainers were off camera. Dog and actor were acquainted before the shoot.

In the scene where we see a mule attached to a post outside of a house, the barrels and the sacks on the mule’s back are lightweight and empty. Trainers tied the mule to a post with a rope.

In the scene where we see chickens in the background, the trainers placed scratch on the area to keep them in place.

In the scene where the actor leads the mule into town, the actor was prepped on how to lead the mule before filming the scene.
