Detailed Animal Action Report
Throughout the film, one of the characters has a cat, who is seen performing such mild action as sitting/standing/lying, being held or petted, and walking/running. For all of these scenes, trainers used hand signals and verbal commands to cue the mild action, which the trained cat was accustomed to performing.
In the scene where the man walks into the hospital room and sees a cat sitting on the bed next to a patient, the trainer brought the cat to the set and placed him on his mark. Then the trainer stayed outside the door to the room. On action the actor walked into the room and pet the cat.
Due to limited resources, American Humane Association did not monitor some of the cat action or any of the rabbit action.
