Deep Down (1993)
Deep Down is a suspenseful story revolving around love, deceit, smuggling and murder. Andy, a young musician, moves from Michigan to the San Fernando Valley hoping to find work. His funds are limited, so he looks for an apartment to share. He answers an ad in the paper and meets Craig, his soon-to-be roommate. The thing that convinces Andy to take the room is the view from the building; Charlotte, a beautiful woman in the adjacent apartment. After just one evening at his new home, Andy learns that Charlotte has a very cruel and abusive boyfriend, Joey. But this does not deter him from his quest to attain Charlotte. Little does Andy know that he is actually being set up as the fall guy for a large scale rip-off, and Charlotte is just part of a master plan.
