Death of a Unicorn (2025)

Detailed Animal Action Report
In the scene where the actor follows his daughter outside a mansion and we see a guard with a dog on a leash, and the dog leaps and barks at actors, the trainers stood off-camera. On action the actor exited the house in a hurry, heading toward the gate. As the actor passed by the dog, the trainer showed the actor how to tug the dog’s leash. In response to this signal, the dog lunged forward and started to bark.
For some of the unicorn VFX scenes, they scanned the image of a horse on stage in front of a green screen. We were on stage to make sure the horse was safe. They brought the horse onto stage and filmed it against the green screen. The floors had rubber matting to keep horse from slipping.
