Detailed Animal Action Report
The puppies that appear in the film were 8 week-old Golden Retrievers. They were kept in a large pen and stayed in a comfortable, air-conditioned room between filming their scenes. For safety reasons, the pups were kept away from the cast and crew when possible and trainers retrieved the pups from the actors between takes. An AHA representative was on set for all of the puppy action to ensure their safety.
