In the scene where the actors walk through a space station and walk past a guard with a dog on leash, the set was an industrial building with cement walls and high ceilings. The man playing the guard was actually the dog’s wrangler, so the dog felt comfortable the whole time. On action, the actors walked past them.
The scene with the monkey was created by CGI.
