An award-winning cynical journalist, Lloyd Vogel, begrudgingly accepts an assignment to write an Esquire profile piece on the beloved television icon Fred Rogers. After his encounter with Rogers, Vogel’s perspective on life is transformed.

Detailed Animal Action Report
Throughout the film, there is an aquarium with fish on Mister Rogers’ set. A twenty gallon fish tank was used with a fifty gallon filter. Fish were maintained on set for the entire week of the shoot, to limit the least amount of stress. The water and fish were checked throughout the day.
