American Humane and Nylabone Announce #BOTBChallenge Celebrating the Transformative Love Dogs Provide

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, September 12, 2022 — American Humane, the country’s first national humane organization, and Nylabone, an iconic brand in the Central Garden & Pet portfolio (Nasdaq: CENT) (Nasdaq: CENTA), have announced the #BOTBChallenge, a consumer contest celebrating how dogs help bring out the best in pet parents everywhere. The contest coincides with the release of social media influencer Topher Brophy’s upcoming book, Dog Dad: How Animals Bring Out The Best In Us And Can Help Save The World. All proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit American Humane, a long-time Nylabone partner dedicated to promoting the welfare and safety of animals through the #NylaboneCare program.

About the Contest

Nylabone will be hosting a month-long social media giveaway from September 12 to October 12. The giveaway will promote Nylabone partner American Humane. All proceeds from Dog Dad book sales will be donated to American Humane.

The giveaway—which will be hosted on Nylabone’s Instagram account with its 110,000 followers—will mirror the central theme of Dog Dad, celebrating the lifechanging companionship dogs provide humans. In addition to Instagram, users are invited to participate on Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok. Individuals can enter by posting a photo or video to their feed showing how their dog(s) bring out the best in them, using the custom #BOTBChallenge (Bring Out the Best Challenge) and #Nylabone🧡DogDad hashtags, and tagging three friends to join the challenge.

It recounts how Brophy and Rosenberg are together dedicated to the higher purpose of helping others. With book proceeds benefitting American Humane, the duo aims to inspire the same joy furry friends can give.

Brophy (@topherbrophy) has gained international attention with socially conscious and wildly imaginative photos of himself and his dog Rosenberg (@rosenbergthedog) in elaborate matching outfits. The pair is committed to spreading positive messages and promoting organizations that perpetuate compassion, tolerance, and sustainability.
