In 2024, American Humane proudly continued our unwavering commitment to protecting and improving the lives of animals around the world.
This year, thanks to your generous support, we directly rescued, sheltered, and cared for over 1,500 animals in desperate need, from crisis situations to cases of abuse and neglect. Through our comprehensive programs, we touched the lives of more than 250,000 animals, providing them with the safety, care, and compassion they deserve.
Beyond rescue, our impact spanned industries and continents. We helped ensure the humane treatment of 1 billion farm animals and safeguarded more than 100,000 animal actors on film and television production sets, reinforcing the importance of kindness and respect for all creatures.
Through our Pups4Patriots™ program, we matched 11 service dogs with veterans, offering life-changing companionship and support to our nation’s heroes. Additionally, we were honored to reunite three retired military working dogs with their beloved handlers, bringing joy and closure to their stories of service.
