Laura Tridico

Biography

Laura Tridico is General Counsel for American Humane, where she manages and oversees its legal department, provides a broad range of legal guidance to staff regarding program operations, and closely supports the organization’s expanding international operations in all areas including corporate compliance, non-profit law, employment law and transactional matters.

Ms. Tridico joined American Humane in 2021, bringing with her over 25 years of professional experience in the United States and Europe. Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Tridico practiced corporate law at Holland & Knight, then at Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells), where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions. While residing in Belgium and the United Kingdom, Ms. Tridico worked as a legal and financial translator and advised several non-profit organizations on governance and employment issues.

Ms. Tridico received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and an associate member of the Virginia State Bar.
