Biography

As Chief Communications Officer at American Humane, Georgia Boyer collaborates closely with the executive leadership team to design and execute comprehensive communications strategies on both national and global levels. Leading a world-class communications department, Georgia is dedicated to promoting the welfare and safety of animals.

Georgia is responsible for increasing the organization’s visibility and influence through strategic partnerships, earned media, and high-impact campaigns. She manages all communication channels, media relations, and public outreach, ensuring that American Humane’s mission is consistently reflected in every initiative. Notably, she plays a pivotal role in the organization’s annual Hero Dog Awards, securing media coverage on GMA and Fox & Friends to name a few. Most recently she was the red-carpet producer for the 13th annual event, which was featured on A&E and FYI Networks.

With over 15 years of experience across industries—from digital start-ups to major media companies like Conde Nast and CBS—Georgia brings extensive expertise in media, PR, internal communications, social media strategy, and brand partnerships. Georgia attended both the University of Miami and Florida International University where she graduated with a bachelors degree.
