Giving Tuesday

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. In an era of global crisis and disconnection, kindness is more important than ever before. Today, on December 1, people around the globe will come together in unity for a worldwide celebration of generosity. On this GivingTuesday, we urge you to give and collaborate with American Humane, making a difference for the world’s animals.

Thanks to a special challenge grant from loyal American Humane supporters, your GivingTuesday gift will be doubled up to $60,000! This means your generous donation will have twice the impact on innocent animals who are counting on us during this season of giving.

Despite all of the challenges of 2020, American Humane has continued to help millions of animals in crisis. We have trained lifesaving service dogs for veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war. We have transported retired military dogs thousands of miles back home to where they belong. We have deployed on urgent animal rescue missions in the face of disastrous wildfires, and we have provided more than 645,000 meals to hungry, homeless animals across the country struggling in the face of COVID-19. This is all possible because of the generosity of supporters like you.

Together we can do extraordinary things. American Humane is united with the global community for GivingTuesday, and we hope you will step up to help us continue to make an impact for the safety, welfare and well-being of animals – our best friends.

Donate at www.americanhumane.org/giving-tuesday to make double the difference, and voice your support by tagging @AmericanHumane on social and using #GivingTuesday.
