Casey Decision-Making Guidelines
Field Test Sites
Project developers field-tested the decision-making Guidelines at five public- and private-sector child welfare agencies in rural, semi-rural, and urban settings. Frontline workers and supervisors at each site reported a high level of satisfaction with the Guidelines and found them:
- Helpful for case planning
- Useful for child and family assessment
- Helpful for raising or illuminating case issues that they would not have considered otherwise
- Well-written and clearly formatted
- Useful for supervisory review
