We investigate animal cruelty in Missouri and respond to animals impacted by natural disasters. Responsibilities include working with local and state government representatives and law enforcement to enforce animal welfare laws, and maintaining a positive, professional relationship with media personnel. Qualifications: 4 yr. degree, 5-7 yrs relevant exp, supervisory experience, animal handling skills, computer proficiency, budget management, media experience, strong written/ verbal skills a must. Supervise shelter veterinary technician, provide medical and humane care to all SPCA animals. Able to perform 25-35 surgeries per day as well as examine animals in the shelter.
