American Humane’s Film & Television Unit monitored this film and ensured that "No Animals Were Harmed."

Based on American Humane's agreement with the Screen Actors Guild or based on a request of the producer/director to have American Humane monitor the film, the producer/director allowed American Humane's Animal Safety Representatives on-set access whenever animals were used. Throughout the pre-production stage, American Humane's Film and Television Unit received a copy of the script and the daily call sheets, which are used to schedule both human and animal actors. The Film and Television Unit carefully reviewed scripts during pre-production to determine if any scenes or situations appeared to put animals at risk.

The production’s disregard for animal safety, whether by filming an at-risk segment unauthorized by American Humane or neglecting to adhere to Guideline safety on or off camera, directly caused the injury or death of an animal.

Not Monitored: Met Production Expectations

American Humane’s Film & Television Unit was unable to directly supervise the animal action due to limited resources and/or scheduling conflicts; however, the production complied with all requirements established by American Humane.
