“No Animals Were Harmed”® Certified Animal Safety Representative Training

Help us look out for animal actors in film and television by becoming a part-time, on-call Certified Animal Safety Representatives for American Humane’s Film & Television Unit in Los Angeles. Learn about pre-production, on-set monitoring and post-production integration and get an in-depth review of the Guidelines for the Safe Use of Animals in Filmed Media. Candidates must submit a resume, complete the Animal Knowledge Questionnaire and have a personal interview to be accepted for this training. Certified Animal Safety Representatives do not have to reside in the Los Angeles area.

Note: Candidates for Certified Animal Safety Representatives must have an extensive background in animal-related work. Those who successfully complete the training process and are assigned to monitor productions do so as employees of American Humane.
