Advanced Euthanasia: Beyond Cats and Dogs

How do you humanely euthanize a snake, turtle, skunk, iguana, or cow? Animal welfare agencies are faced with handling a wide variety of animals in their communities. When euthanasia is required, these animals deserve a humane death. This workshop teaches certified euthanasia technicians humane ways to handle, sedate and euthanize animals in the field and at the shelter. Prerequisite: Must be a certified euthanasia technician as defined by your state.
