Thanks to the PEDIGREE® Food for Dogs gift-matching campaign and thousands of donors nationwide, American Humane has been distributing special grants to dozens of animal sheltering and animal welfare organizations. These grants are supporting projects and efforts to improve the quality of life for animals and help them get adopted. National Council on Pet Population Study and Policy
American Humane is a member of the National Council on Pet Population Study and Policy. Since 1993, this coalition of 10 animal-related organizations has been working to establish strategies to study pet population and reduce the number of unwanted pets.
