Grant Writing for the Novice

Walk through the steps every grant writer must take to complete a grant for submission. Topics include grant research, timing strategies, networking and collaborations. Anyone with common sense, decent writing skills and a passion for this work has the potential to research philanthropic organizations and write a proposal to get the funds your organization needs.

This presentation takes the fear out of grant research and application. Too many people feel nervous about grant applications and just don't try. This presentation helps you understand the nuances of grant making and philanthropic organizations. Learn how to find appropriate funders, work toward deadlines and approach an organization for the first time.
