Advocating for Better Animal Welfare Laws

Our advocacy work at the federal and state levels supports legislation that recognizes animals as an important part of our society and ensures that they are treated as humanely as possible. American Humane Association also engages in grassroots outreach efforts to mobilize communities to become an outspoken voice for better laws, and we keep constituents notified of pending animal welfare legislation and enable them to advocate for animals with federal and state-specific Action Alerts.
