Leaping Bunny

American Humane is one of eight founding members of the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC) which was created in 1996 in response to public demand for cruelty-free products. Through an active coalition working toward a cruelty-free world, the CCIC promotes a single comprehensive standard and an internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo. Each company agrees to prohibit animal testing in every phase of the process, including a pledge from the ingredient suppliers. The result is a product guaranteed to be 100 percent free of new animal testing. All Leaping Bunny companies must be open to independent audits, and commitments are renewed on an annual basis. We are working with companies to help make shopping for animal-friendly products easier and more trustworthy.
