Animal Protection
American Humane works tirelessly to advocate for the welfare of animals. Through phone calls, letters, emails, and visits with members of Congress, we are continually urging the federal government to pass legislation that recognizes that animals are an important part of our society and ensures that they are treated as humanely as possible.
As always, we need your help to keep the pressure on Congress for stronger protections for animals in the wild, in research, and in our shelters and communities. Make sure to register on our site and sign up to receive Action Alerts. All you have to do is fill out your information and select the checkbox next to Action Alerts. You'll be able to contact your legislators and advocate for animals -- with just the click of a mouse!
